Glo is a platform for energy management, resource tracking and reporting. Tasked with generating a new product name and brand identity, we hinged the design concept on the idea of information being brought to light. Bright colours were off-set against dark backgrounds and subtle gradients brought visual interest to the user interface. The letter "O" in the wordmark serves as a graphic device for the brand as well as a node point for charts, graphs and data visualisation.

Invenfin is the venture and growth capital division of Remgro. They invest in remarkable people who have built world-class businesses by providing the support to scale globally. With their dynamic management team and experienced board of directors, a website focused on Invenfin’s exceptional people was the obvious choice. Portrait-style black & white photography looks personal and authentic. The interface was kept simple with red accents for emphasis.

Fuudu’s objective is to support young food brands by giving them exposure and increasing their reach, without compromising the brand’s artisanal integrity. In supporting the real food movement, Fuudu wants to inspire people to change the way they eat. In keeping with their natural approach, a fresh identity was created using a playful brush script in a friendly, accessible lowercase logotype. We created a responsive website to connect food makers and food lovers, resulting in an effective, well-considered user experience for the food community.

RMI was given a proactive investment mandate to identify, invest in and partner with entrepreneurial and disruptive financial services institutions. This required a new brand identity that would distinguish RMI from the broader RMH portfolio, while retaining its proud association with the group. The new identity reflects an inclusive vision of partnership and growth paired with individual management, which is at the core of RMI’s business strategy. The carefully crafted icon with its open-ended yet closed circular shape accurately reflects RMI’s objective: to enable would-be subsidiaries to operate as self-managed entities within a partnership structure. The new identity was launched using a custom letterpressed brand guide made with traditional bookbinding and printing tools. The craftmanship and expertise involved in this process echo RMI’s belief that excellence is the result of years of dedication and focus.

Energy Partners required a new brand identity to consolidate their reputation as an enterprise that drives innovation and energy optimisation to deliver results that matter. Key requirements were to showcase the full range of services, enable divisions to have an own identity, and to allow for the incorporation of acquisition brands. To this effect a flexible identity system was created, encompassing 9 divisions that tie into the parent brand, with the capacity to incorporate future acquisitions. In a bold move, “Energy Partners” was shortened to the wordmark “EP”, which acts as a unifier across all business divisions. A vibrant colour palette was introduced to distinguish various company divisions, allowing for instant differentiation and recognisability.

The Maker+ website was designed to display their progressive creativity in an easy-to-digest visual format.

Like many businesses that experience slingshot growth, the Paarman website and associated systems did not keep up with the expansion rate. Information was frequently outdated and infrastructure did not support advanced recipe searches. Eager to bring their digital presence in line, the Paarmans wanted a next-generation website to drive customer engagement with their comprehensive recipe and product database. Working closely with Ina and Graham Paarman, a colourful new identity was created and applied across all digital platforms.
